Custom Dog Houses on Display
at Home Improvement Show
Silent Auction Proceeds to Benefit
Cleveland Animal Protective League
(Cleveland) – Four custom-made
doghouses with values starting at $2,500+ each will be auctioned
off at the upcoming 2012 NARI RemodelOhio Home Improvement
Show, Presented by Sherwin-
Williams.
And the good news is - all the
money goes a local animal shelter.
“Each doghouse is a designed
to reflect different style homes and all were created and
constructed
by award-winning contractors exhibiting at the show,”
said Kathy Masterson, Executive Director
of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the National Association
of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
A Craftsman-style doghouse is the creation of Absolute Roofing
and Construction
(www.absoluteroofinginc.com) and will feature a wood shake
roof. Artistic Renovations
(www.artisticreno.com)
chose the Cape Cod-style. A Colonial flavor was the choice
of Triple
Peaks Roofing and Construction (www.triplepeaksconstructioninc.com)
and Architectural Justice
(www.architecturaljustice.com)
designed and built a doghouse in the form of a Penthouse
Suite,
complete with granite, onyx and glass.
The show starts Thursday, January
19th and runs through Sunday, January 22nd at the IX Center.
Masterson says attendees will be able to submit their sealed
bid and the winners will be contacted
at the end of the show. All the money will then be donated
to the Cleveland Animal Protective
League (APL).
“The APL is a non-profit
organization and gets no government money. All their money
comes
from fundraising, donations and service fees. We know this
will be a big help for them,” said
Masterson.

Home Improvement Show, presented by Sherwin-
