Zion
Lutheran Church
Located on the eastern side of downtown
Cleveland, is one of the original landmark designated churches
in northeast Ohio. The board of trustees recognized the
need to start a restoration program for their historic structures.
We were contacted to review the existing condition of the
main church steeple and devise a long-term strategy for
the renovation of the steeple. Due to the age of the existing
building and the historic significance of the church we
were required to work with many agencies to assure the historic
character of the main steeple was not compromised. This
project helped Absolute win a 1st place award for Commercial
Exterior in 2008 at the annual NARI awards ceremoney. Click

Euclid
Avenue Church
Euclid Avenue Church is an old style urban church located
on the East side of Cleveland that had been around for 150
years. We were contacted by the church because the roof
was failing and various other repairs were needed around
the building. The joints between the stones were cracking
and a masonry sealant needed to be applied to assure many
more years of service. Copper cladding was used atop the
building to insure a well sealed roof. Click

UPDATE: We were stunned and saddened to hear about the loss of the church. Our men spent a good part of 6 months replacing the roof, copper gutters and cupola on this historic landmark. We got to know this building real well and it is just stunning. Good luck to the wonderful congregation as we are sure they will rebuild somewhere.
St.
John Bosco Church
St. John Bosco Church and School is a community located
in Parma Heights, Ohio off the metroparks. The school and
many other buildings around the property were in dire need
of roof replacements. The first roof on the agenda was the
school roof, which had a failing foam roof system. The previous
roofing system was covered over with fiberboard and replaced
with EPDM rubber. Many other roofs around the property were
repaired with tar roof coating. Click

Metroparks
Zoo
The Metroparks Zoo of Cuyahoga
County contacted us after hearing about our on-going relationship
with the Cleveland Metroparks. We have done various small
and large projects all over the county for years and the
Zoo began a renovation plan which included their roofs and
other tasks around the park. This included the main entrance
tear off, gift shop tear off, and tree top cafe renovation,

Lakewood
High School Natatorium
The Lakewood High School Natatorium
roof was in terrible shape and was in dire need of replacement.
Because of the persistent problems with standing water,
a new approach was used in the design for the roof drainage.
Absolute Exteriors, Inc, the installing contractor, enrolled
in a new program entitled The Certified Drainage Program
(CDP). The CDP Program was used for the first time on a
roof project in Northeast Ohio and proved to be an extremely
